Officer in Georgia Revives Man Who’s Heart Stopped From Heroin Overdose

Police in Peachtree, Georgia, captured the harrowing moment that they were able to revive a man who overdosed on opiods on camera last week. On February, police found an unidentified man unconscious in the parking lot of a Days Inn in Peachtree. In the video, police begin to administer CPR to the man, who was limp and unresponsive – he also had no pulse and was not breathing. In the nick of time, officers administered the lifesaving opioid antidote drug Narcan, which saved the man’s life. The officers are now being hailed as heroes in their hometown.
